Easter Morning

Last year Hattie told me that when she woke up on Easter morning she would have to find the Easter Eggs. So we had the kids each find 5 eggs that were their color. Well, we had to do that again this year because it was so much fun. So the kids got their Easter baskets with some new church clothes (even though it was conference and they wouldn't be wearing them to church until the next week) Then they hunted for their Easter eggs. It is always great for me to see the joy in their eyes doing fun activities such as this. Then the girls got all dressed up for me to take their pictures.

Then we went and visited our Grandmas and Grandpas. First to the Anderson's to visit. WE took along with us a bunny bread that we thought we would share for dinner.

Then to the Taylor's for dinner and another egg hunt.

It was great to listen to the prophets and apostles talk about Christ on this day. We also sit down with our kids and talk to them about the importance of Easter with a fun Easter egg lesson we have. We give the same lesson every year, it is fun for the kids and as we have done this each year it is fun to see them interacting with us more and more each year as they grow. What a great day!!
