So isn't it fun when you download the pictures from the camera and this is what you find??? (description: a jumping motorbike on the mostfungames.com game on the computer) And when mom asks--who took a picture of the motorbike game?? The answer is always--"It wasn't me"
Moving on--Did you know that an eleven month old can climb a ladder?? Neither did we until we were working outside on Saturday and Russell was on his descend down the ladder and hollered, "Joy, could you get Logan off of the ladder so I can get down??" Then every time we sat Logan down he made the long trip over to the ladder and started climbing up. (One time I stood right behind him to see how far he would go and he made it all the way to the top) I better WATCH OUT because I have a monkey on my hands.
Last bit of miscellaneous for the day. We had a scare the other day with Hattie--she was fussy for a couple days and then looked up at me and asked me if she could play with her friend--her tonsils were humungus-- So we took her to the doctor and they treated her for strep throat. Well, she wasn't getting better so on the third day of medicine and she was still not better I took her back to the doctor--He thought she might have mono and so we had to do some blood work--well to make a long story shorter--the test came back and her blood count was high so the doctor thought she could have something worse. They did more blood work and then she started feeling better. The tests came back and she did have mono (not something worse). Well after a week and a half she was finally well enough to go about her activities--so as I was surfing blogs one day I came across this hairdo and we dolled her all up for playgroup day. We are so glad she is finally feeling better.

Paper & Sticker OR Toe Nails???
So I was the driver today to take the neighborhood girls to gymnastics. Once all the girls were in the car and on the way Breanna informed me that one of the girls likes to eat paper and stickers--My reaction was "I think that is gross" another one of the girls in the van said "Well I like to eat toe nails, want to watch me" Ok now I think that is worse than paper!!
We went in and had gymnastics and to my surprise the conversation of toe nails came up again--they were all laughing so it must not bother them much. So for any of you who are hungry for dinner or a late night snack--which would you pick----Paper or Toe nails?????

Ok so every day I think about things that are blog worthy--I don't think that each blog entry should be some big event-- so I spend my days thinking about what happened that day that I should blog. And usually by the end of the day I am too tired to sit down and type up whatever I thought of that would have made a good post!!
So today I am blogging about two little things that happened this morning--
#1 Ever wonder where the phrase "bite me" came from??? Well I now know--this morning while I was talking to my mom on the phone and holding Logan of course. I could tell that he needed something but I didn't know what it was and I was having an interesting conversation with my mom so I kind of ignored Logan's need. ALL OF A SUDDEN he bit me on the cheek. It wasn't just a little friendly nibble, it was a full on bite-- OUCH!! I wasn't very happy and I gave him a little tap on the mouth and scolded him about biting-- So see the phrase "bite me" came about from the child who bit his mother to get her attention so that she would take care of his needs.
#2 While Hattie was at playgroup and I was in the shower (I had put Logan in my room on the floor with a pile of toys) I heard Logan near the shower curtain because as usual he finds his way in the bathroom and either plays with the toilet paper or with the shower curtain--this is my cue to hurry and finish up and get out. Well today I heard him so I was finishing up and I turn around and to my surprise Logan is fully clothed and in the shower with me. What a little stinker!! Not much I could do he was soaking so I left him in there while I got dressed and then I got him undressed out, dried and dressed for the second time today!! (he wasn't very happy by the time I got him out :)
That is all for this morning!! Who knows what other unexpected things will happen this day. All I can say is that after both episodes--I did have a good little chuckle over both.

BUSY WEEK
OK OK I know that you all had busy weeks too--but I feel like it just keeps getting busier and busier. (We don't even have three children in soccer-you know the soccer practices and games) So I really don't know what my problem is but here goes---

Russell and the boys and Breanna and some aunts and uncles went to the fair for the Motorcross racing. They had a fun time.

Then Russell and I went out on a date we ate out at Carinos YUMMY YUM!! Then we went to the movie Get Smart--it was hillarious. We had a great time.Posted by Joy at 3:25 PM 3 comments
