Decorating

So a over a month ago (probably over 2 months ago) I got the painting bug and decided that I needed to repaint my bedroom. I had gotten a new bedspread for Christmas and my red paint no longer matched. I picked a nice green color that I thought would look great and when I painted over the red wall the paint turned nearly black!! Well that wasn't going to work--so I searched for a new paint color (which took a while) and I also learned that I was going to have to prime the walls before I painted the new color. So the motivation was turned to the girls room and I ended up painting their room and adding a chair rail (pictures to come later when I get their decorations on the wall) Finally, I found it in me to prime the walls and paint them. I also painted our bathroom the same color, found a new cabinet and shower curtain. Then I have waited and waited to post about it because I needed something for above my bed, a picture, vinyl letters, something. Well I finally went shopping with my sister-in-law and my mom to the Rod & Vinyl store. I found some decorations. Then after about two weeks of the decorations decorating my floor we hung them up....and I TOTALLY LOVE IT!! Anyway, here it is.

We have a few more decorating and remodeling projects to come. I will post about them eventually!!

New Find

I just found a fun quilting shop. It is up in Rigby (on Main Street)--I was blog surfing and came upon it. It will be a trip to Rigby for me!! Looks like they have some fun fabric and patterns. They have an online store and a blog. The site is http://www.katicupcake.com/ , she also has a link to her blog. I do wish that I had more time to quilt and make things but I can always hope right??
