So I found this on the hair blog and thought that it was a great idea!!
We could all use a little more positive thoughts in our days right??
So here are some things I am grateful for...
1. A wonderful husband
2. Kids that are happy and healthy and for the most part helpful!!
3. A baby on the way--the positive of him not coming yet is that I am not up all night feeding and I am not an emotional wreck yet :)
4. Extended family that is close so my kids know what is like to be around grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
5. The gospel in my life--knowing that there is and eternal plan to life
6. Summer--it is nice to sleep in and stay up late, makes me appreciate the schedule again when school starts.
7. That my house is clean and the laundry is done--(for a few more days at least)
8. That I have great friends
9. Yummy Raspberries, zucchini, potatoes, and peas to eat out of the garden
10. Blogs that are like journals so that every once in a while I have to think about things to be positive or grateful about and that I actually write them down.
Now have a positive outlook on life today--hopefully it will make your day that much better!!

Alaska Trip
Russell went to Alaska with his brother Nathan, cousin Jason, and uncles Jim, Ron, & Kelly. They had a great time. They flew into Anchorage and rented a motorhome and then drove and fished!!
Then to Ninilchik to go halibut fishing. They went for the afternoon out on the water to fish for halibut. Nathan worked hard to bring in a big halibut but when he got it up it was a stingray (skatefish) bummer it was 150 lbs. Kelly also had a big catch but it was an octopus. When they couldn't bring in a big halibut they went to the Chicken Hole so they could catch their halibut.

We made it!!
Russell made it into SLC this morning and is on his way home HURRAY!!!
As long as I don't start having contractions and have the quickest birth ever (which I am NOT having any contractions, so we should be good)--I have made it and Russell will be able to accompany me when I go into labor!!!

Fly Swatter Hockey
What is this you say?? It is a game that involves fly swatters and either a bouncy ball, tennis ball, well I guess any ball that you can swat. It started with Brock and Logan--and they are the ones who play it the most. But anyone with a fly swatter can play!!! It is hillarious for me to watch them--so I snapped a few shots this time as they were playing. Logan really gets into it and loves to play!! I love it when the kids invent games and really enjoy playing them!

Breanna turns 7
Breanna's birthday was Sunday!! We had a family dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Anderson's on Saturday night and so we decided to let her celebrate a few hours early and so she got to open her presents and have cake and ice cream on Saturday night!! She was so excited all day Saturday. I think she asked me at least 20 times if it was time to go to grandma's yet!! Finally it was time HURRAY!! They played in the water for a little while first and then we let her open her presents.
SEVEN birthay spankins from Grandpa
Then the favorite part of the party was letting the balloons go

Heise
Heise is a close place to go and swim--but each summer we never make it up there. My brothers and their families decided to go on Friday. I was only going to send my boys with them--but then after much consideration I decided that I needed a day away and I would only be 1/2 hour away if I did go into labor--so I packed up the girls and Logan and we headed up to play.
As I went through to pay...I remembered one reason why we don't go every summer--it is expensive!! It cost me $28 for me, Hattie, and Breanna--I could have taken my whole family to Ross park for that amount!! Oh well it is the memories that are made not the amount of money that it cost RIGHT???
Anyway, Brinton, Brock, and Breanna all had slide passes and had a great time going down the slide!! As for me and Hattie and Logan we had a great time playing and splashing in the pool.

Back Flips--Not that I approve
Brock has been practicing and working on learning how to do a back flip on the trampoline. I do not approve of such stunts but what can I do--he is out there before breakfast and has to try one more time before he goes to bed. And he has finally mastered it.

More Information
So Russell went to Alaska with his brother Nathan, cousin Jason, Uncles Jim, Ron, & Kelly. They flew in an airplane and then rented a motorhome and they are cruising around in that!! Russell said that it is pretty tight quarters but for the most part they are on the river fishing. The sun is up all day long so they tend to stay up late and get up early. The night they caught the fish (that I know about) it was around 10:30 pm and they fished until 1 am.
I aquired the picture of the fish because Russell took it with his cell phone and then emailed it to me. It will be a whole list of fish pictures when I get the camera home I am sure!!
There is some more information!!

A fish story
So here is a picture one of the King Salmon that the boys caught up in Alaska--this one is 27 pounds. I guess Russell has the record right now--last night he caught a 38 pounder. He was very excited. I am sure that he will have many stories to tell when he gets home!!
Happy Fishing!!.jpg)
