Christmas Activities

The month of December was busy for us, as I am sure it was for all of you . But we did fit in a few fun activities. We built gingerbread houses one night. The kids love this activity. Nothing fancy or anything just graham cracker houses, frosting, and candy--lots and lots of candy. I do try to get them not to lick their fingers but that is usually not very successful.

The next fun tradition we have is that the extended Taylor family gets together and perform the nativity. This year since we have Andrew he got to play the wonderful part as baby Jesus. Breanna was Mary, Brock and Brinton were Wise Men, Hattie and Logan were sheep. Russell was the donkey.

This is something special that I hope my children remember their whole lives. It is fun for them, but I think also helps them remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Then on Christmas Eve my family gets together to enjoy some yummy food and visiting. I love the holidays!!!

What wonderful Christmas traditions! I love Brianna's hair. I've been contemplating doing that for Brielle...I think her picture just convinced me.
