Russell's last day at Mountain View Hospital was on May 12th. Then we went on a weekend trip to Boise with the girls to see Wicked. It was a quick but fun trip. Then Russell had 2 weeks off before he had to start his new job at Grand River Hospital District. We were able to spend time with the kids. Get the house ready to sell. Spend time together. He was able to play alot of tennis, go motorbiking, go on some dates with the kids. It was great. But we also knew that those two weeks would go by fairly quickly. And they did. Memorial Day weekend we spent some time together as a family and then spend some time packing. We had to figure out what few things he needed that would fit into his car to take with him to Colorado. Well we did it and it all fit!! It is amazing what we can pack into a Geo Metro :)
I am sure that as people passed Russell on the Freeway-- they wondered what his story was and where he was going.
